X-Project is a Livejournal X-Men Movieverse game which began in May 2003. It is based on continuity established in the first and second movies (by necessity, the third movie does not exist), and relies on a combination of in-character journals and e-mail/AIM-based logs. There is something for everyone in X-Project, whether a fan of the comics, movies, or just someone with a passing interest in exciting interaction. The game balances the intense world of the X-Men's activities with the interpersonal relationships formed by having two teams of mutant activists - the X-Men and X-Force - plus a school for young mutants learning to control their abilities. Most of all, X-Project is a chance for both participants and readers to enjoy innovative and cooperative storytelling in an ever-changing setting. No OCs. Check out the list of open characters, or consider apping someone new. Students 14-17 especially welcome. FEATURED CHARACTER: A refugee from Vietnam, Xi'an Coy Manh, or "Shan" as she prefers to be called, is the daughter of a South Vietnamese war veteran suffering from post traumatic stress and a leg injury. The family immigrated to the US when Shan was a young teen - it was on the refugee boat that she manifested her ability to psionically possess others when they were attacked by pirates. She built herself a successful life in the State, studying hard, until her college graduation when a hotel fire killed her parents, made her twin brother and her uncle fugitives from the FBI and placed the responsibility for raising her young siblings directly in her hands. Struggling to cope for some time, she eventually got a job at Xavier's as the school's librarian, the position suiting her quiet, orderly nature and the school providing an education to her younger brother and sister, also twins and both X-positive. She remains at the school, caring for Leong and Nga and debating whether or not it is time to take an active role in her own life again. If you are interested in applying for the above character, a full previous history can be found on the X-Project Wiki. Or, email the mods. We look forward to hearing from you! ( Wanted Characters )

FEATURED CHARACTER: Artie Maddicks has been at the school for most of his life, and he has no memory of his time with the Morlocks, this aspect of his history only revealed by older survivor Sarah "Marrow" Morlocke identifying him. Artie has a blue, forked tongue, much like a lizard's or a snake's, which renders him unable to speak. He is compensated by the ability to project images or 'psychic holograms' of varying complexity, as well as using sign language. This year he became a freshman, no longer one of the 'little ones' of the school, and ready to plunge into the drama that is Xavier's high school life. ACTIVE FOR 8 MONTHS! soon to come: RIOT! MURDER! SCANDAL! OH MY !
Its been months now since President McCannials was elected. Since then, life for mutants has been growing more and more difficult. Left and right, mutants are losing their jobs. Left and right, mutants are being found dead. Left and right, mutants are losing their rights, their families, their homes, their lives.
A mutant hospital has been opened, known as "the New York Establishment of Mutantology", a testing facility for Mutantologists (that is, Mutant scientists) for better understanding of abilities, how they got them. Every day mutants are being taken into the hospital for testing, and some of them aren't making it out.
A drug has been created, for testing on the mutants. It is believed that the drug will put an end to the abilities these mutants hold. But not all mutants are being stopped. Some are dying from the side effects (however covered up by the Government), some are getting new abilities. The effects of this drug are widely unknown.
On November 15, 2020 - a flyer was sent out to every family in America, listing all the laws mutants were expected to follow. If these rules were not followed correctly, the mutant will be punished by hospitalization, or death.
What do you think? Will you stand back and let this happen, or will you stand up and fight for Mutant freedom? The decision is yours

The Cure didn't work. So the government decided to step in and put it up a notch. The Mutant Registration Act was finally passed. All mutants are required to carry IDs stating their mutation or they would be arrested for breaking the law. Separate prisons were built for mutant criminals. The use of mutant powers in public not only incited riots, but now carries a minimum prison sentence of fifteen days.
The great activist of mutant rights, Charles Xavier is dead. Erik Lensherr is back, powerful then ever, with a new Brotherhood of Mutants behind him. The future looks like a bleak place to be for mutants, but Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters flourishes under Ororo Munroe, the new Headmistress. She, along with the mutant only known as Logan, educate the young mutants of tomorrow and provide a beacon of hope to the mutant community.
Xtended: An X-Men RPG is a movieverse game that pick up where X-Men: The Last Stand, left off. Watch as the X-Men, the Brotherhood, and rest of mutant kind try to make sense of what happens after the Cure wears off, the MRA is passed, families fight and reunite, and bonds are broken and reforged between old friends...Premise // Taken & Held Characters // Wanted Characters // Rules // Application |

«PLOT» The 'mutant cure' has been defeated. Mutants' bodies have rejected the cure and created antibodies to prevent future strains from affecting their systems. However, in doing so, and combined with exposure to the Mutant X gene within them, they have created a new virus (coined 'the Cure Virus') that has infected non-mutant humans who have come in contact with mutants who took the cure. Xavier's School for the Gifted has been turned into a shelter for cured mutants, a base for uninfected human defense and a safe harbor for all other mutants whom the government believe to be dangerous to the efforts in human safety. From Magneto's perspective - a virus that's mutated and maimed the majority of the human population isn't terrible at all. The fact that the virus was produced from a 'cure' they attempted to force upon their mutant counterparts only makes it all the sweeter. However, as time passes, the Brotherhood of Mutants is discovering that the absence of able-minded humans in the nation isn't necessarily a good thing.
While Charles Xavier works toward finding a cure for this new, terrible threat to humanity, Erik Lensherr looks to their brothers-in-genes to band together and make the world right again - fully functioning and with mutants in control.

ANOMALOUS Game History x Rules x FAQ x App x Held x Cast x Contact/F-Button
Started in July, Anomalous was a long running game on GJ which, due to the fact the we have dedicated previous members, was petitioned to be brought back from the dead...
PREMISE –adjective 1. deviating from or inconsistent with the common order, form, or rule; irregular; abnormal: Advanced forms of life may be anomalous in the universe. 2. not fitting into a common or familiar type, classification, or pattern; unusual.
Welcome to a world influenced by power.
There are no superhuman heroes, no dastardly villains here. You may be used to hearing stories of people joining secret teams and forming legions, flying around on planes, but this is not a comic book. This is a generation of gifted humans who, in the past year, have lost their once normal lives. Some of these "mutations" were worse than others, but together they all are united in the fact that their lives will never be the same again.
People began to notice things wrong with themselves. Wounds would heal faster, massive headaches would ensue, and suddenly they were in a different room. A man prayed to God that the next time he opened his eyes, his glance wouldn't destroy whatever fell within his gaze.
When the American government found out about these "super beings", one thing stood in mutual agreement; they were a threat. Like all threats, they must be contained and exposed of. The general public, perpetually afraid of the different and strange, spawned hate crimes that spread like wild fire. This evolutionary jump wasn't just isolated to the United States. All over the world, people began to realize their true potential. Foriegn governments are trying to recruit them to military forces, wanting nothing more than to control them. Scientists search out these special people, their intentions both good and bad. What was once considered normalcy has been corrupted. Questions with no anwers are on the tip of everyone's tongue: How, or why; are they connected? Is there a greater purpose, be it dark or light, that they must face?
Arguments of the rights belonging to these once normal beings began the hot debate for political meetings. Should they be required to register, and if they had too strong of an ability should they be "dealt with"? Already, many of these "freaks", as some would call them, were using their powers for personal gain, and there was a concern that it would escalate. They would rob, they would cheat, and they would kill to seek vengence.
Then there were those who tried to stay out of the limelight, frightened of their powers and the consequences that came with them. And there were those who found these powers as a way to gain attention, using them to save lives and get their name flashed on the evening news.
There has also been more signifigant damage. An earthquake has, for the most part, destroyed Sussex, New York. In response to this disaster, a panel was formed. These individuals are now one of the driving powers behind the future of the Anomalous. Some of the memebers would see these super-powered humans destroyed, or rounded up. While others are secretly fighting to keep their own freedom.
Senetor Kelly, the main force behind ostracizing the Anomalous, was wounded at his own birthday celebration. Many other people were hurt...some were killed. The blame for this "attack" was placed on this new brand of humanity. Laws were passed, to help protect the citizens of New York. The first, the Heddison Law, prohibits any use of Anomalous ability against any member of city law enforcement. The second is the Couventry Law, restricing the use of power at any group function or public event.
For the last month, there has been peace. With no violent outbursts from either side, New York City is holding a collective breath. Who will make the next move?
These are The Anomalous - the changed, the powerful, the revolutionized.
WANTED Males, as always. Our Wanda mun really wants a Pietro. I personally would like to see someone take Shadowcat, Rogue, Jean Grey and Husk. Perhaps start a medley of generation Xers, since, Monet, Jubilee and Chamber are taken. We would love to see more characters whose powers haven't manifested yet and SO MANY MORE! Request a hold RIGHT NOW!!
Anomalous is a AU X-Men game, if you didn't notice from reading the above. We'd been around seven months before dropping off into an "hiatus". The above was the premise since the beginning, however, you should definitely read our in-game history if wishing to apply. Which, we would definitely love to have you. RECONVENES FEB. 5th

In a world of mutant decimation and superhero registration, Cable brought together a new X-Force team to work for his vision of a better world in ways that the X-Men, as a publicly known and registered team, can no longer operate. To keep the team undercover from the cape killers, he also recruited super-musicians, bringing together the Resistance Tour, a controversial mutant rock tour. Balancing a cover job as part of a high profile celebrity entourage and covert operations to protect mutants from those who fear and hate them is all in a day's work when you're part of a Tour de Force.

AGE OF APOCALYPSE X-MEN GAME. based following the 1995 comics, with the ending tweaked.
characters | rules | application | information
New York is a wasteland. America is no better off without Apocalypse. Now that the dictator is gone, chaos reigns. Attempts by the human population to reestablish themselves are routinely put down by Infinite patrols. Mutants have a slightly better go of it, usually finding a place with either the EMF or the X-Men. The X-Men are too thinly stretched to be much help, their spirits slowly being ground down by the continuing battle. They have no idea whether their actions changed the timeline, because here they are. Still fighting.

FEATURED CHARACTER: Sam Guthrie: Eldest son of the sprawling Guthrie clan, Sam left Kentucky to attend Xavier's as a high school student when he manifested his powers of thermokinetic propulsion during a mine cave-in. He remained at the school for many years, despite sometimes feeling guilty about 'abandoning' his widowed mother to raise his siblings alone. However, his role as an X-Man was just as important to him. When his sister Paige and brother Jay eventually came to the school as their own mutations surfaced, Sam found the family reunion was a bit more difficult than he'd anticipated. When news came in 2007 that their mother had been injured in a fall, Sam was the one who volunteered to return to the family farm and help care for her. Lucinda Guthrie is a proud woman, however, who knows her children's hearts well, and it's entirely likely that when she is recovered, she'll send Sam back to where he feels he belongs. If you are interested in applying for the above character, a full previous history can be found on the X-Project Wiki. Or, email the mods. We look forward to hearing from you! ( Wanted Characters )
